{"id":138,"date":"2023-04-11T18:07:19","date_gmt":"2023-04-11T15:07:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambtallinn.esteri.it\/chi-siamo\/numeri-di-emergenza\/"},"modified":"2025-09-19T15:59:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-19T12:59:11","slug":"numeri-di-emergenza","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/ambtallinn.esteri.it\/en\/chi-siamo\/numeri-di-emergenza\/","title":{"rendered":"Emergency numbers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>FOR EMERGENCIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Emergency number\u00a0 <strong>112\u00a0<\/strong>(police, firefighters, ambulance) is active 24\/7 on all the Estonian territory.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Consular assistance \u2013 serious emergencies during office hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Please call the following number: +372 6276160<\/p>\n<p><strong>Consular assistance \u2013 serious emergencies outside of office hours<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In case of a serious emergency\u00a0<strong>outside of office hours\u00a0<\/strong> the following emergency number\u00a0<strong>+372 5165723\u00a0<\/strong>is available in the following time slots:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monday \u2013 Friday from 17:00 to 22:00<\/li>\n<li>Saturday, Sunday and<a href=\"https:\/\/ambtallinn.esteri.it\/en\/chi-siamo\/gli-uffici\/public-holidays-2023\/\">\u00a0during holidays\u00a0<\/a>from 9:00 to 21:00<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In case of\u00a0<strong>ABSOLUTE EMERGENCY\u00a0<\/strong>in a time slot different from office hours and the availability of the emergency number, it is possible to call the following number of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><u>Operation Centre of the Emergency Unit<\/u>:\u00a0<strong>+39 06 36225.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These above mentioned emergency numbers \u2013 that of the Embassy and that of the Ministry \u2013 are available only\u00a0<strong>to communicate<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>serious, absolute and proven emergencies<\/strong>\u00a0that require an immediate and non-deferable intervention from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to safeguard Italians abroad (for example: accidents, arrests, serious medical issues etc.). The officials on duty are not to handle ordinary administrative procedure such as: AIRE registration, civil status changes, passports or ID card, citizenship applications, notarial services, etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>If your ID\/passport has been stolen press charges<\/strong> immediately <strong>at the Estonian Police<\/strong>. In the city of Tallinn, it is necessary to go in person to the\u00a0<strong>Police Station in Paul Pinna 4<\/strong>\u00a0or to file a request through the email\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:pohja@politsei.ee\">pohja@politsei.ee<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0(preferably in English). The maximum response time for email requests is 30 days.
