{"id":959,"date":"2021-02-25T11:54:57","date_gmt":"2021-02-25T08:54:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ambtallinn.esteri.it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2021\/02\/cop26-and-youth4climate-driving\/"},"modified":"2021-02-25T11:54:57","modified_gmt":"2021-02-25T08:54:57","slug":"cop26-and-youth4climate-driving","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ambtallinn.esteri.it\/it\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2021\/02\/cop26-and-youth4climate-driving\/","title":{"rendered":"COP26 AND YOUTH4CLIMATE: \u201cDRIVING AMBITION\u201d: YOUNG PEOPLE ALL AROUND THE WORLD CAN APPLY NOW"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The <strong>\u201cYouth4Climate: Driving Ambition Event\u201d<\/strong> will take place in Milan on <strong>28-30 September 2021<\/strong>, back to back with the Milan Pre-COP26 on September 30th \u2013 October 2nd.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Building on the global movement generated by young people and sponsored by the Government of Italy, in its capacity of partner of the COP26 Presidency, the Youth4Climate event will provide young delegates the opportunity to debate and present concrete proposals to advance the climate agenda and, for the first time, to directly engage with Ministers attending the Pre-COP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">February 1st, Italy in collaboration with the Secretary General\u2019s Envoy on Youth, launched officially a <strong>global call for the selection of young leaders who will attend the \u201cYouth4Climate: Driving Ambition\u201d event<\/strong>. The global call is open to all young people (aged 15-29) with a proven track of climate leadership and expertise from any of the 197 Member Parties of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).
