The Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has published the call for applications for the 2026-2027 academic year regarding the scholarships for foreign students and Italian citizens living abroad (ire) awarded by the Italian government.
The following scholarship types are available:
- Master’s Degree Programs (2nd cycle)
- Higher Education in Art, Music, and Dance (AFAM) Programs (1st and 2nd cycle)
- PhD Programs
- Research Projects
- “Italofonia” Scholarships for Intensive Italian Language and Culture Courses
- Bachelor’s Degree Programs (1st cycle) and Single-Cycle Master’s Degree Programs: “Building the Future” Scholarships
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Study in Italy portal by 2:00 PM (Italian time) on March 26, 2026.
