METHODS FOR THE PROVISION OF CONTRIBUTIONS TO PRIVATE ENTITIES FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTAINING INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND SECURITY AND FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF HUMANITARIAN INITIATIVES AND THE PROTECTION OF HUMAN RIGHTS

To enable Italy’s participation in international peace and humanitarian initiatives, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation is authorized, pursuant to Article 23-ter of Presidential Decree 18/1967, paragraph 2, to grant contributions to initiatives proposed by Italian and foreign private entities, following a public procedure, in compliance with the principles of transparency and equal treatment.

To allocate the relevant contributions, using the resources allocated for 2025 by resolutions adopted by the Council of Ministers on February 19, 2025, the Directorate General for Globalization and Global Issues (DGMO), the Directorate General for Political and Security Affairs (DGAP), and the Directorate General for Europe and International Trade Policy (DGUE) have drawn up the Publicity Notices for the disbursement of the aforementioned contributions, published on the MAECI website at:
