The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has created, together with the Italian Academy of Cuisine, the comic “History of Italian cuisine in comics – from Etruscan tagliatelle to tiramisù”.
The fascinating history of Italian cuisine illustrated in comics: from the Etruscans, to the Romans, to the Arabs in Sicily, to the Middle Ages and the sumptuous Renaissance banquets, to the foods arriving from the Americas that totally changed the face of our cuisine. At the end of the historical journey, an invitation to try the main dishes that characterize our traditional cuisine today.
