The Embassy of Italy is pleased to announce the launch of scholarship competitions for academic programs commencing in Fall 2026 at Domus Academy in Milan, one of the world’s premier capitals for fashion and design.
Internationally recognized as a leading institution in its field, Domus Academy currently ranks 62nd globally in the QS World University Rankings for Art & Design. The academy stands out for its highly practical and flexible learning methodology, which seamlessly combines traditional lectures with cross-disciplinary workshops, collaborative labs, and intensive bootcamps. This hands-on approach allows young talents to engage directly with industry professionals and leading companies, resulting in a remarkably high certified career placement rate.
To support and reward exceptional talents from all over the world, the institution is offering financial aid opportunities for its Bachelor of Arts (BA), Academic Masters, Dual Award Masters, and 2-year Master of Arts (MA) programs. Applicants can apply through two distinct competition tracks:
- Portfolio Competitions (Scholarships up to €6,000): This track is designed to let students’ existing creative work speak for itself. Applications will be evaluated based on the overall quality, innovation, and problem-solving approach demonstrated in the personal portfolio, across all major areas of Design, Fashion, and Business.
- Project-Based Competitions (Scholarships up to €8,000): Tailored for students eager to tackle specific design challenges, this track requires applicants to develop an original project in response to an official brief. This opportunity is available for highly innovative and forward-looking programs, specifically the Master in Design x AI and the Master in Design Futures.
